Commercial coverage, brokered right

Coverage that fits the business you actually run

Alderpoint is an independent brokerage. We read the policies you already have, shop your risk across more than thirty carriers, and place coverage matched to your contracts, your payroll, and your lease. Nothing more, nothing missing.

We are brokers, not agents of any one carrier. Our obligation runs to you.

Four policies carry most of the weight

Every placement starts with what your contracts and your landlord actually require. We write limits to match, then close the gaps that show up in the fine print.

General liability

Premises, products, and completed operations. The baseline policy every lease and contract will ask about, written at limits that match those documents rather than a carrier default.

Property

Buildings, contents, equipment, and loss of income. We check valuation methods and co-insurance clauses before you bind, because claim time is the wrong moment to learn what "actual cash value" means.

Workers compensation

Rated right the first time. We review class codes and experience mods at every renewal, because misclassification is the quietest way a business overpays for years.

Cyber

Breach response, funds transfer fraud, and ransomware. Small firms are the softest targets, and we place cyber for five-person shops as often as five-hundred-person ones.

Industries

We insure businesses you can walk into

Storefronts, job sites, offices, and warehouse floors. If your risk lives in the physical world, we have probably placed it before.

Construction

GL, builders risk, bonds, and comp for trades and general contractors.

Restaurant dining room with wooden tables before opening

Hospitality

Liquor liability, property, and comp for restaurants and lodging.

Professional services team working together at an office table

Professional services

E&O, cyber, and office packages for firms that sell judgment.

Warehouse aisle with tall pallet racking and stored inventory

Manufacturing and warehousing

Property, product liability, equipment breakdown, and cargo.

How we work

Audit, market, place

The process is deliberately unexciting. It takes about three weeks from first call to bound coverage, and you see every quote we receive.

1

Audit

We read your current policies line by line and map them against your actual exposures. You get a written gap summary whether or not you move your business to us.

2

Market

We take your risk to the carriers that actually want your class of business, with a submission that presents it honestly. Better submissions get better pricing. They always have.

3

Place

You choose from real options, side by side. After binding: certificates the same day you ask, and renewals started 90 days out, not the week before.

Claims

When something goes wrong, call us first

A policy is a promise, and claims are where promises get tested. Your Alderpoint broker files the claim, tracks it, and pushes back on your behalf when an adjuster reads the policy differently than we do.

  • Every claim acknowledged within one business day
  • A named broker owns your file from first notice to close
  • Open claims reviewed weekly until they are resolved

About

Founded by brokers who kept finding unread policies

Alderpoint Risk Partners opened in 2012 after its two founders spent a decade watching businesses buy policies nobody had read, including the people selling them. The fix was not complicated: read the documents, present the risk honestly, and stay in the room at claim time.

Today a team of 18 brokers and account managers serves about 1,100 businesses across the Northwest. Most new clients arrive the same way you probably did: a referral from someone who had a claim that went well.
