Fair questions

Does Ledgerpine replace my accounting software?

No, and it does not try to. Ledgerpine handles the client-facing side: invoices, retainers, reminders, and payments. It syncs cleanly into your general ledger so your accountant keeps their tools and you keep your evenings.

What does payment processing cost?

Card payments are 2.9% plus 30 cents, bank debit is 0.8% capped at $5. Ledgerpine adds no markup on top of processor rates, on any plan.

Can I migrate invoices from my current tool?

Yes. Import clients, open invoices, and payment history via CSV, or let our onboarding team run the migration with you on a call. Most studios are fully moved in an afternoon.

Do my clients need an account to pay?

No. The portal link works without a login, and paying an invoice takes two clicks. Clients can optionally save a payment method for autopay on retainers.

What happens if I go over my client limit?

Nothing abrupt. We flag it in the app, give you a 30-day grace period, and suggest the next tier. Billing never blocks your billing.
